Fast food ads in the EU reached an estimated 970,757,794 people in April 2026, with an average duration of 10.2 days.
Instagram led estimated reach at 858,863,332.85, followed by Facebook at 774,119,977.31. Threads, Messenger, Audience Network, and WhatsApp also appeared in the dataset.
The largest company presence in this set came from McDonald's, with 2,320 ads and an estimated EU reach of 622,045,498.71. KFC followed with 834 ads and an estimated EU reach of 348,712,295.54.
New ad activity was also higher for McDonald's, with 373.1 new ads per week, compared with 138.6 for KFC. Average ad duration was similar for both brands, at 10.2 days for McDonald's and 10.3 days for KFC.
