Run a website A/B test

Create a controlled experiment, validate both variants, and interpret results without stopping too early.

Availability depends on your plan, permissions, and connected channels.
Before you start

What you’ll need

  • An installed Leado pixel
  • A measurable conversion event
Step by step

Follow the workflow

  1. 1

    Define one hypothesis

State the audience, change, expected behavior, and primary metric before editing a page.

  2. 2

    Create the experiment

Open A/B testing, choose the target page, and set the experiment name and traffic allocation.

  3. 3

    Build the variation

Use the visual editor to make the smallest meaningful change that tests the hypothesis.

  4. 4

    Validate both experiences

Check control and variation on desktop and mobile, including navigation, forms, analytics, and page performance.

  5. 5

    Start the test

Launch only after the audience, allocation, goal, and pixel events are correct. Avoid making mid-test changes.

  6. 6

    Read the results

Review exposure, conversion, uplift, and uncertainty. Run long enough to cover normal business variation before choosing a winner.
